Absolutely delicious! Flavours are more complex than the other chilli oils I've tried. Those shitake mushrooms and star anise bits are such a delight to bite into. Who knew! Gave some to my Indonesian friend (who usually finds most chilli oils bland) and immediately got an "It's delicious!!" from her. Do us a favour, please ship outside of Australia too!!

I've tried chilli oils from Michelin star restaurants across the world and Six Eyed Scorpion is by far the most well balanced and delicious chilli oil I've ever had. The flavour is so complex with the perfect amount of crunch, sweetness, moreish umami-ness and a lingering heat that leaves you wanting more and more. Could not recommend this chilli oil more!

I have tried all kinds of chilli oil before but this one takes the cake. The intensity of the flavours, the ingredients and aroma all combine perfectly. I use it as an accompaniment for almost all my dishes and a generous portion of it at that.

This chilli oil is addictive. I always have it on my breakfast hard-boiled eggs (instead of dark soy sauce). It is fragrant, spicy & lip-smacking good. It’s also good with meats, dumplings, noodles etc. 😋😋😋

I have gotten my friends and family on to it, and they agree that it is ICONIC. I eat this with EVERYTHING, I eat it out of the jar, I want to have it on tap in my house.

It is so delicious that I started off using just a little bit but now I use teaspoons of it! I love it on everything and it’s not too hot but this gorgeous complex flavour. I really love the fried shallots. I was so intrigued by the chili oil I looked up all the ingredients.

This chilli oil saved our dinner. Our very sweet well meaning friend made some shrimp tacos that were, urm… mediocre at best. They were boiled shrimp unspiced, chewy flour tortilla that were more naan-like, and some tangy guac, but we just threw some of this chili oil on each taco and voila! Saved dinner! My group of my girlfriends went to Melbourne a little while ago to visit our friend that has recently moved there. We found this chilli oil at a cafe and when we asked about it were told it was going to be sold soon. I’ve been following the Instagram page since because I didn’t want to miss it. My girlfriend just came up to Brisbane for the long weekend and dropped off some! I’ve eaten it and photographed it with obsessive enthusiasm and want to buy it as a gift for all my friends, it’s that good!

It’s kind of hard to stop eating this straight out of the spoon on its own. Super flavourful and fragrant. In terms of spicyness it’s at an enjoyable level where I can still feel it a little but I can load as much of it on as I want hehe. But spice tolerance is personal of course! Delicious 10/10 :-))
